Re: The VINYL Thread!
I wanted to point out that my copy of Coheed and Cambria's In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth also had excessive jacket shavings on the second disc. I cleaned it all up, though. I don't know what the hell happened at the pressing or where they pack them but that shit was annoying.

I don't believe the clear is actually a variant, since this is from DW's reissues of their old Carpenter stuff. The standard issue on those is clear.
I, now, need to re-buy Halloween III because the reissue includes additional cues. Fucking vinyl double dipping. GTFO.

I should also point out that the Halloween II clear vinyl score does not come with an oversized booklet like Halloween III does. It only has a poster. Halloween III is orange, comes with a poster, and an oversized booklet.

Re: The VINYL Thread!
So with great anticipation, I got the new Belle and Sebastian album in the 4LP box set.
They took the album and changed the running order from the CD so that they could make 4 "Eps" with one song on one side and 4 or so on the flip side. This wouldn't be so bad but they made the single side 45RPM and the flip 33. To listen to the album straight through, you have to change speeds 8 times. For people with turntables without a speed switch, this is a major bummer.
I'll be getting the CD.

Received my Mondo 12" Bat-shaped vinyl of the Batman: The Animated Series opening and closing themes. The artwork on the gatefold is very nice I have to say. Not sure I'm actually going to play the single as I bought it more as a collectors item than anything but its a nice piece.

It looks like we're about to get Bjork's catalog on colored vinyl.
This is good news because she rarely repackages or re-releases her music.
