Is that thing worth the price? I'm a fan, but I'm not sure if I'm a $33-for-one-album fan...

I've been loving the Miles MFSL releases. Got In A Silent Way, Round Midnight, and Sketches of Spain.

I, now, need to re-buy Halloween III because the reissue includes additional cues. Fucking vinyl double dipping. GTFO.
The Halloween III reissue is an amazing package. Great sounds, great art and liner notes. Excellent all around.

The price is steep but the quality rocks. I was fortunate I used some of my Amoeba store credit on it, though.

Gotcha. It is a beauty, though.

Sorcerer is tremendous although it is a bit irritating to flip sides after a single 7 minute song.

Re: The VINYL Thread!

I should also point out that the Halloween II clear vinyl score does not come with an oversized booklet like Halloween III does. It only has a poster. Halloween III is orange, comes with a poster, and an oversized booklet.

Re: The VINYL Thread!

So with great anticipation, I got the new Belle and Sebastian album in the 4LP box set.

They took the album and changed the running order from the CD so that they could make 4 "Eps" with one song on one side and 4 or so on the flip side. This wouldn't be so bad but they made the single side 45RPM and the flip 33. To listen to the album straight through, you have to change speeds 8 times. For people with turntables without a speed switch, this is a major bummer.

I'll be getting the CD.

I know. That wasn't revealed in the description. It just said it had a poster, 4LP, and extra tracks. Being a huge B&S fan, that was a no-brainer.

Re: The VINYL Thread!

Received my Mondo 12" Bat-shaped vinyl of the Batman: The Animated Series opening and closing themes. The artwork on the gatefold is very nice I have to say. Not sure I'm actually going to play the single as I bought it more as a collectors item than anything but its a nice piece.

Re: The VINYL Thread!

It looks like we're about to get Bjork's catalog on colored vinyl.

This is good news because she rarely repackages or re-releases her music.
