That's pretty much the full list you hear these days, at least in Austin. When I was growing up, the stations in Dallas played a wider variety of Zeppelin stuff which was how I was initially introduced to it.
About six months ago I was listening to KLBJ on my way home and somebody in the studio put on a pretty deep cut from the Zep catalog, either "Hot Dog" or "Poor Tom"... something like that. After the song the two DJs claimed they'd never even heard that song before.

Classic rock is the worst - mostly because it's all been so played out for so long - most of these songs were ancient 25 years ago, now, they're fucking mummified. Even the best songs aren't meant to be heard over and over and over and over for decades on end.

idk if these will be the same remasters that Jimmy Page is working on, but on Dec 18, itunes is releasing all of the Zeppelin albums as "mastered for itunes"

I'm sticking with the stations only have best of cds in their library theory. There may be something to the paying for what you play, I've heard DJs say they would get in trouble with the boss for straying from the play list. The business would have to have changed alot. FM Rock used to play anything.

Like most of Led Zepplin's songs we hear were not released on singles 45's.

The UK public domain law takes effect 50 years after recordings are released. Recordings from 1963, including Beatles are falling in PD in Britain. Both The Beatles and Dylan have officially released previously unreleased stuff from '63 to keep them from PD until 2063. Wonder if Zep will start putting out stuff starting in 2018.

next year. each LP will get an extra disc of alternate takes, outtakes, b-sides (if any), and live performances. hoping for vinyl reissues too... the "mastered for iTunes" tracks released last year sound fantastic.

There's literally one non-album Led Zeppelin B-side: Hey Hey What Can I Do. Some editions of Coda include it.

Robert Plant was talking about that recently... there's nothing leftover from the I-III era for sure, but he recently found tapes for the rest of their time together.

If it's anything like the Beatles, the alternate takes will only reveal that they actually chose the best takes to release on the albums.

So great to have Led Zeppelin on Spotify finally it was a gaping sore of an omission.
Just listed to the O2 concert. Surprisingly good. Actually SOUNDS like Led Zeppelin which the Page and Plant concerts though great never did. God I hate Plant sometimes. Why couldn't he just agreed to a tour back then? Why?
They should grab Jason and JPJ and just make an album. Who the hell would it hurt and it would probably be pretty good at worst.

Sure, he can belt those tunes a couple times a year, but multiple shows during a tour? Forget about it! He likes dong new music and doesn't need money, which is why he did the Alison Krause thing instead. In his shoes, I'd do the same.

As long as they don't go Lucasing the old releases, I'm OK with Plant's stance. He's a point in his life right now where shrieking out those song would probably take a toll on him, and he's in a different place in his life now. Yeah, I'll never get the chance to see Zep since they broke up long before I was born, but if Plant doesn't want to just do an imitation type tour, I don't blame him. That kind of lightning in a bottle would be pretty hard to recapture. At least Plant isn't just going through the motions for the money.
