FOUR MORE COLORED VINYL RELEASES COMING SOON OUTSIDE THE U.S.

You may remember a series of colored vinyl releases in the United States through a collaboration with Walmart back in 2021. And if you’ve been keeping up with Metallica.com, you probably saw our first five of those albums made available outside of the US last October.

We’re excited to have four more of these limited releases available outside the US beginning next month! One by one, Garage, Inc., St. Anger, Death Magnetic, and Hardwired…To Self-Destruct will roll out through July.

While the series will begin to hit shelves in April, be sure to check stores in your region for available pre-orders.

I'd like to get Garage Inc. on vinyl, but at this point I'm waiting for the inevitable box set (once they get around to releasing the Load/Reload box(es), which I won't be getting).

I picked up this Cliff figure from Super 7 a few months back. Thinking about getting one of the larger Ulimates versions.

I read that tickets will range from $110 for cheapest to $750 for the more expensive ones. They will also have ticket/hotel packages. Damn it, now I am tempted to go to one show, then just drive back. Or just save my money and wait for Tool.

I got in at 1:12pm CT for the 1:00pm CT sale. Everything had gone.

They just announced 6 more shows. I would imagine there's a lot more in the pipeline.

I was about 290,000 in the Queue for a 20,000 seat venue. Wasn't optimistic, and yeah unsuccessful there.

Unbelievable demand is correct.

If you figure they need at least a dozen or so shows in the bag to just cover costs there might be a third and fourth wave of added shows. That's were the profit comes from. I had three queues (two just over 300,000 and one around 280,000) for three different dates. At least it was all over in 40 minutes. I've seen those thing drag for hours. There is an Artist dale tomorrow and a SiruisXM and Live Nation presale Wednesday. The new show fan sales are also Wednesday. Funny times ahead.

With the announcement I think that makes 16 for Metallica. I doubt they do 40 but a three or even fourth wave of added shows it's unrealistic.

Strike two today. All three shows I was queuing for sold out in about 35 minutes. Now getting tickets is a matter of principle. When the line number starts to jump it's not a good sign.
Thursday is the third pre-sale (SiriusXM) AND Artist Sale for the new dates. Fan club for the new show is tomorrow.

🤣 Honestly, this ticket clusterfuck has got me all twisted and turned.

Day Three: Ticketmaster goes down around 12:30 pm. It was working just fine before that because I bought tickets at 12:21 pm for something else. It was a presale with a queue (6k in the line).

At 12:30 people cannot log in. The website times out. You can’t get into the queue. Just a mess. There is natural demand and there is this. Either it got DoS attacked or brokers and causal scalpers ramped up their efforts. Did they learn nothing from Taylor?
I’m already in the waiting room on the app and browser. It gets finicky, times out but eventually lets me into the queue sometime after 1pm. 150k and 280k in the queue! The thing was broken?How the hell are those people getting in? Reports from the last few days were that people with numbers in the low hundreds still got the sold out message. I’m still in the line. For S&G I for the Hotel and Concert packages. Initially the wait time is….5 HOURS….and then goes to…..7 hours.

Tomorrow I bend over for the fourth time as ask in I can have another spanking. It’s now a matter of principle.

Yeah, I've given up. It's a waste of time to even try at this point. Bots have 99% of the tickets wrapped up. I'll spend my money on something else. I've seen them a ton of times since 1985 so I'm good.

Super annoying. Why not require your individual pre-order code to join the queue? How hard would that be?

Hopefully demand will decline significantly and I will be able to pick up some last minute tickets or something.

It's just funny now. I was talking to a pal. A suite is like $48k for 24 with some food credit. Stupid expansive but some of the scalper prices aren't too far off. The really funny thing is he is look for 8 seats together.
