Grant played the leads on the Metal Blade version of "Hit the Lights".

McGovney was the original bass player before Cliff.

Tanner is James' old friend, who he wrote Motorbreath with.

Are the tracks still in rough demo form, or did they master them for the release?

OK, do I learn my solos from the demos, or Kirk's solos? What solos should I play? Then, when I got there, Kirk said, 'You know, why don't you play all the solos?' And I was like, 'Oooh!' [laughs] I had to quickly go through my bag of tricks."

Night 1 of 4 has been posted to LiveMetallica.com. I want to get all 4 shows, but I'm going to wait and see if there's a special for buying them all.

Warner Brothers will re-release Beyond Magnetic by Metallica on CD on January 31 after its DD release on December 13.
