Re: One can only dream...
What I said last August.
From memory, the set list looks a little fuller than the reunion/last supper tour I caught a few years back.
Who was on keyboards in Brum?
If Iommi says it was idle chatter/speculation and Butler says the original line-up won't ever tour record again, my take is that Iommi, Butler & Osbourne might do something together but Ward almost certainly won't. I think Bill Ward is the least healthy of the quartet and has some issues about them all getting together in a business arrangement; maybe because of past disappointments and the "bad place" he was in and wouldn't like to return to or to be reminded of.
For the longest time I've said that I'd love to see some kind of "Sabb-Fest" where all four front their solo projects over the course of an afternoon/evening, performing shortish sets, Ozzy & Bill watch the performances of other incarnations of "Sabbath" fronted by the likes of Gillan, Halford and Martin and, at some point in the proceedings, the original four [+ Geoff Nicholls on keyboards] perform a few deep cuts. The classics/greatest hits could be performed as "tributes"/covers by the solo or the non-Ozzy line-ups &/or as videos during the intervals. You heard it here first!

Re: Black sabbath: reunited original band line up for new album.
Black Sabbath: Commenting on the progress of the sessions, Osbourne said: We've written about 15 songs so far, whether they'll get on an album [I don't know]… You just keep on writing. I was trying to [work out]: where would we be now musically if we'd have stayed together?"
He added: "Next year — 2013 — is a good clue of what we'll call the album."
Regarding how Rubin approached the writing sessions with the band, Butler said, "He sat us down, put the first album on and said 'listen to this', imagine it's 1969, you've just done that, what would you do next?" (Didn't Rubin approached Metallica in the same manor listen to your early stuff and then right Your next album "Death Magnetic") So this is Rubin secret.

Re: Black sabbath: reunited original band line up for new album.
Album Update: Original BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi, singer Ozzy Osbourne and bassist Geezer Butler are working with producer Rick Rubin on their first recording project together in 34 years. According to Metal Injection, 15 songs have been written for the CD, with 12 making the final cut and the additional three serving as bonus tracks for different special editions. The band has one songtitle confirmed: "God Is Dead".
Apparently, Iommi completed all 15 guitar tracks during the band's sessions in England earlier this year, and judging by the way most bands record, that would mean drums are done as well. Ozzy and Geezer are working to complete the tracks in five song increments, with the first five being worked on currently at Shangri La Studios in Malibu, California. Ozzy is tracking vocals, with Butler writing all the lyrics.
As for Iommi, Ozzy told SiriusXM Liquid Metal DJ Jose Mangin that he spoke to the guitarist recently and he is in good spirits and recovery is coming along very well from his cancer scare earlier this year.

Oh, cool, three additional tracks that will get scattered across various releases, making it harder for fans to get all their new tunes.
Keep inspiring piracy, jackasses.

They did the same thing on the new KISS album.
I mean, do they seriously think that fans (who want the physical media 9/10 times) are going to buy the album twice just to get one track (one which iTunes won't just sell me)? I bought their album, then I found the extra track elsewhere. If they're OK with losing my money, hey, no sweat off my sack.

Well, they must be getting paid to do these retailer exclusives. So they probably figure, most fans will buy the album from a regular outlet once and be done with it. A few hardcore fans will buy multiple copies to get all the tracks, which is extra cash on top of the payments from the retailers for providing exclusives. The rest will buy the album once and pirate the other two exclusive tracks, which is really no money out of the pocket of the band. Only a few people will pirate exclusively and not pay the band at all, so in the end they end up making more money than just releasing the album with no exclusives at all.

I guess no one in the BS camp listens to Megadeth, since they JUST released an album called "13". I was hoping for a little more creativity in that dept.
I've never seen thought much of Wilk. Don't think he's bad, just never really thought much of him period. I figured Clufetos would handle the skins. Very curious to hear whatever the first single is.
