I used to use the Kusty the Clown theme from the Simpsons on mine.

Who is that?

Edit -- Google is my friend. It's Beneath the Sky, song is 7861.

I use a ringtone version of "Who Could It Be Now?" I am often complimented on my fitting choice of ringtone.

I like anything that can easily be reproduced in MIDI for a cleaner sound - "Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness", "No Surprises" and any of the Sonic 2 level music.

Here's a few if I ever took the time to figure out how to do ringtones I'd like to have (although generally speaking I find other people's ring tones annoying):

Iron Maiden:
Run to the Hills
Number of the Beast
Wasted Years
Wrathchild
Prowler

Megadeth:
Peace Sells
Sweating Bullets ("Hello me, its me again...")
Symphony of Destruction

Theme from the XFiles

Cyndi Lauper "The Goonies R' Good Enough"

Jimmy Cliff "I Can See Clearly Now"

Michael Jackson "Billy Jean"

Peter Gabriel "Big Time"

Primus "Sgt Baker"

Queen "Under Pressure"

Ramones "I Wanna Be Sedated"

Steppenwolf:
Magic Carpet Ride
Born to be Wild

Twisted Sister "I Wanna Rock"

also you can double click the full picture to take you directly to the youtube site, and most times, if its a video of a band, it'll say band and song. Good somewhat haunting song (its about a friend of the band that comitted suicide at ?7861 Blackbourne" the opening lyric.

Ah sweet, I never knew the double-click trick. Nice one! Also I do like the song, I've been into a lot of hardcore lately so I'll have to check these guys out more. I think I saw a t-shirt for them tonight while I was browsing through Hot Topic.

They Might Be Giants - Fingertips

Any part will do. And if you have enough different people regularly calling you, you could set an individual ring for all of them using a different part of the song for each.

The opening few seconds of More Human Than Human by White Zombie.

It used to be my ringtone until it went off one day in class. The professor gave me a very confused look while the guys cracked up and then girls were grossed out. Good stuff.

For the quintessential Eighties vibe, I like the opening synth notes to Men Without Hat's "Safety Dance." Hate the song, but it is simple and works well as a ringtone.

The beginning of Pink Floyd's "Money". I currently have that one set to ring when Paypal Mobile calls me to confirm a dollar transfer.

My current ringtone:

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/SdCMUNgtdqA"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/SdCMUNgtdqA" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

It ends at "And his name is Kyle Gass"

You can send your own mp3's to your phone via this website.

Currently, I have "The Price is Right - Cliff Hangers" theme as my ringtone.

I also had "Ironside", from Kill Bill (it played every time she saw an enemy), which I thought was pretty cool.
