I noticed that she took off her IFB ear monitor way early in the song. Even SHE couldn't STAND to hear herself sing! 
I do a morning news show and we played a clip and the boos and everyone LOVED it!

If this is true then I can understand why she was screwed up. I'm not covering for her but I remember being at an AC/DC show and Brian Johnson's ear monitor went dead during BACK IN BLACK. Well, once the tech came to the side of the stage and took the bad unit off Brian's belt his singing sounded weird. Granted he's a pro so it wasn't off by much but it was clearly affected by not having the ear monitor. The tech rushed back with a replacement 5 or 10 seconds later and once it was on and working Brian sounded great.

Well, at least there's no question as to whether she was lip syncing or not. To all those that complained about her lip syncing, I think I'd rather see that than have to listen to her sing "live" again. That was painful. Her dancing reminded me of the "African Anteater Ritual" from the movie Can't By Me Love.

Just saw it on the local Fox news, if only she had danced a jig it would top the SNL performance easy. That was pretty horrendous. I know I can't sing, that's why I stay the hell off the stage even though I would love to be in music.

I just found out this no-talent corporate product is going to be performing at the Ryman Auditorium here in Nashville. 
The Ryman is the home of the original Grand Ol' Opry and all the greats have performed on that stage: Hank Williams Sr., Johnny Cash, The Carter Family, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Emmylou Harris....more recently Annie Lenox, Sting, Pete Yorn, The Pixies, The Pretenders, R.E.M.
Ashlee Simpson does not even deserve to sweep that stage!
