Yikes. She can't sing, she can't dance. I'm pretty forgiving when it comes to singers as I listen to a great deal of alternative, hard rock, heavy metal, etc but she was just not singing she was shouting. When it was all over the crowd had a large BOO!! for her. Kinda feel sorry for her.

I guess it's all abouth who you know, how you look, and the rest is left ot the marketing gurus.

her background track was at least 2 seconds off of what she calls "Singing", not to mention trace adkins was drowned out by the instruments and kelly clarkston was singing at the begining, but no words were coming out.

BUT SERIOUSLY, the mods should change this title to : Orange Bowl Halftime-A. Simpson biggest disgrace ever! and as fans of music this is not one person dissing on another's taste, this is solid fact.

Secondly, what makes the people at the orange bowl think that football fans want to see kelly clarkstona nd ashley simpsons? i understand country, cause oklahoma was in it, but that bitch ashley deserved to be booed offstage for her own good and for that of halftime show people ever! I mean Kid Rock, Toby Keith, Ludacris, hell...Paul McCartney (given the Super Bowl spectacle)...but who the hell wants to see pop stars that arent even half as cute as the cheerleaders, hell lynn swann said the USC team was singing at the half to get pumped up, why couldn't we see that?

Why would they even THINK of signing her lip-synching @ss up for any live events after the SNL fiasco!? And I agree, none of the college football fans have any interest in seeing her anyhow. Put someone who can really play live up on the stage (with some real talent!).

It seemed like the vocals on each singer's songs were way low on the volume. During Kelly Clarkson's song, you could hear the backup singer a lot louder than Clarkson.

Not that I'm trying to take anything away from the Ashley bashing.

Yeah I'm far from an Ashlee Simpson fan, but the audio for the entire halftime show was pretty jacked up. She just sang on Regis's show, and it wasn't even close to as bad as last night.

I never thought I'd say this, but I miss Up With People.

Hmmm. I caught her on Regis (thankfully only the last 2 minutes or so) and she was TERRIBLE! That girl cannot sing. It's that simple. If she were smart, she'd have stuck to vocally-manipulated studio stuff only. The kiddies wouldn't have caught on for years. But now that her secret is out, there is no getting the genie back in the bottle. So long Ashlee.
