I actually wish they would include the regular version of "You Know You're Right" on the box-set since I did not buy the Greatest Hits just for that one song.

Are those sources of the tracks confirmed? As far as I know the sources are only speculation, but I could be wrong.

The sources I posted are confirmed

here's what the inside of the boxset looks like :eyebrow:
http://www.nirvanaclub.com/abs/nirvanabox.jpg |
that's a rather odd design... i mean, it looks cool, but just like the talking heads set, i wonder just how easily accessible it'll be once it's on my shelf.
regardless, i think i'll be getting two copies of this puppy. it's been a long time coming... |
Looks a lot better than the Talking Heads box (I don't like the CD's in sleeves). Maybe somebody will have a bonus disc (not counting on it) that will have You Know You're Right from the GH disc. This is similar to the Alice In Chains best of the box disc that had a live track that wasn't on the box.
|
I don't know about that design... it seems a little awkward.
Is the book removable, or is it bound into the digipak? If it's bound in, then it looks like it would be a pain in the ass to actually read. It's been a trend to bind books/booklets into the spine of such packages (like The Cure's "Connect the Dots" and Nightwish's limited edition set of their first four albums). I would rather they release sets like this in a box, with the CDs in standard jewel cases so I can keep the CDs with my other CDs. (Like the Led Zeppelin box) |

That trailer was awesome!
The secret sessions in Rio look very interesting... |
thanks for that link!

Has the trailer, an unreleased video for In Bloom., and the first review up. This set is looking better all the time |
Nice site.
Can't wait for this set! |
Wow, I couldn't be more excited for this set; it's been a long time coming.
The only question I have is if the videos included on the DVD are going to be the original music videos ... Nirvana put together more than a few memorable videos, so it'd be nice to have them. If not, is there any word on when a music video DVD might see a release? Heads up for anyone interested --- of all the online e-tailers, it looks like Best Buy will have the best price. You can pre-order it for $39.99 right now at their website. That's about $10 lower than the next best price. |
It will be $39.99 at Coconuts/Strawberries/Wherehouse during Thanksgiving weekend, probably a rebate as well. On the 23rd it will be $44.99 with a $10 Mail in Rebate

Three more reviews are up at nirvanabox.com.
Dammit. I can not wait for this to be released!!! |

Does anybody know if the DDD 20% off coupon codes also work at DeepDiscountCD?
|
Looks pretty awesome. I remember hearing a Baba O'Riley cover from them awhile back and hoped it was gonna be on this, oh well, everything else is great.
|
naa the 20% off coupon only works with the DVD site.
