strong agreement.

I love Sparks. Of their mid-period stuff, "Cool Places", "Eaten by the Monster of Love" and "Angst in My Pants" are good dance tunes. The latter two songs helped make the movie "Valley Girl" much stronger.

And you'll NEVER hear The Police or U2 at a gay bar.
Seriously, that is why I don't go to many gay bars....the music is pretty much the same: annoying.

I would love to own a pub and have a kick-ass juke box with everything from Sinatra to Cash to The Sex Pistols to The Donnas!!

a good mate of ours is going away for a year in a month's time. He's a really good bloke who happens to be gay. We want to put together a really kickin party for him.

I've got the job of supplying the music, my mate loves all the usual gay anthems so i need help putting a good playlist together

Here are the obvious ones i've thought of

YMCA - Village People
Hot Stuff - Donna Summer
Go Wests - Pet shop boys
Dancing Queen - Kylie Minogue
I'll tumble 4 ya - Culture Club
you make me feel mighty real - Sylvester
Queer eye theme tune

i know there's gonna be a lot of Disco on the playlist

and??... did you throw the party yet, what songs did you ultimately play?

What makes these songs gay themed?? Maybe some of the disco tracks but snap, technotronic, Michael Jackson and Lisa Stansfield just don't come across to fit into this category.
