My first concert was Green Day in 95' and it wasn't a date. My friend and I met up with these girls from school there, I had a huge crush one of them but never said anything through High School. My first "date" concert was in 97', my girlfriend at the time was a big Counting Crows fan, they played with the Wallflowers. Not a bad show considered I didn't care for either of them at the time.

Rypro 525 - "Harry Chaplin did cats in the cradle (and I think it was Jim Crocie who died in the car crash right. his song btw was "bad leroy brown"

garolo - "Harry Chapin died in a car crash (I think a wheel came through his windshield) on the Long Island Expressway. He and his brothers went to the same high school that I did (not that anyone would care). Jim Croce died in a plane crash."

Damn!! I'm going to have to give my ol' man a call, and find out who it was. I am positive the song "Cats in the Cradle" was sung, because it was the only song I recognized. Keep in my I was a young kid, and it was a loooooong time ago.

(A few minutes later) No answer at my pops house, they must have went out to eat. This is killing me now, to know who it was. He told such great stories in between songs, and I could swear it was a car crash that killed the guy, but I could be wrong. It was a long time ago. I'm all mixed up now.
