I went to my first concert at Bogarts in Cincinnati in 1994. I was 15 years old.
Opening Band: Throneberry
Main Attraction: Meat Puppets.
My second concert was at the same venue to see Soul Coughing and They Might Be Giants.....it was a few monthes later....
Ever since I have averaged at least one show a month.....
I saw R.E.M. last night!!!!!

My first concert was not a date. Went with a high school friend to see Iron Maiden play at the now demolished Hollywood Sportatorium on the "Seventh Tour of a Seventh Tour" if I remember that correctly....this was back in....1988 I believe. Ace Frehley's Comet was supposed to open...but no showed due to health reasons I believe...so someone else opened up (Big Bang perhaps?) who was just....not good. Yeah...definitely bad.

June 03, 1983 (I was 13!) - Def Leppard with Krokus and Gary Moore. It wasn't a date. Hell, I don't even remember if I was chasing girls back then. I was a rock n' roll Atari junkie!
Looking back, I can't believe my parents let me go to this show. I guess times have really changed!

First concert (not counting local bands) was Dave Matthews in 1996. I actually went with my Dad as I didn't have a car at the time. He loved them, and I took him to a couple more DMB concerts in the coming years.

First one was Cavedogs, Mojo Nixon, and the Dead Milkmen sometime between 89-90. Not a date, went with my younger brother and a buddy from school.
Think the only person I've gone to concerts with as a 'date' or as part of a romantic relationship, and not just 'friends', was my then gf, current wife--of course, I've dragged her to quite a variety of shows: Dead Milkmen, Depeche Mode, GWAR 2 or 3 times, Pop Will Eat Itself, etc. She's taken me to Def Leppard and Toad the Wet Sprocket. As you can see, we have vastly different tastes in music.

as my memory recalls (I'm having a senior moment), it was Janet Jackson "Rhythm Nation" tour
It was with two High School friends.
I lived a very music sheltered (concertless) life as a teenager.

My first concert was when I was a kid, and my dad took me to see (his name is slipping my mind, I wanna say Jim Crochie(SP?) )the guy who sang the "Cats in the Cradle" song. Not long after, might have been a few weeks or so, he died in a car crash. He told neat little stories in between his songs, and I remember enjoying myself more than I thought I would have. Me and my dad had a good time.
What I consider my first REAL concert, was Van Halen on Oct, 31st 1982, on the Diver Down Tour, at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton Va.. I can't remember who opened, but they got booed off the stage, as well as had glow sticks, lighters, and other things thrown at them. I was 12 years old, so no date was involved.

first concert was Billy Ocean with Brenda Russell opening at the Carowinds Paladium in Charlotte, NC. Went with my best friend, we were 16!!! Even had a hotel room that night. To this day, I can't believe our parents let us stay 2 hours from home in a hotel at that age!!!!

The first concert that I went to was either Black Sabbath/Aerosmith, George Harrison or Mott the Hoople in 1974. I can't remember which was first that year.

Neither were dates and I can't remember which one was first:
Poison and Slaughter and the Freeman Colliseum in San Antonio
Toni, Toni, Toni and En Vouge at Sea World
Poison was pretty good, but the rest were nothing to jump up and down about.
