Can anybody give a rundown of what happened? Is there anything worth watching besides Simon and Garfunkel?

Probably a 30-60 second delay. Thats pretty common with most live broadcasts like this now, if i'm not mistaken.

OH. I see.

--------

On another note:

Does anyone know of a site that lists every winner and nominee from each category for all years of the Grammys.

The official grammy site is so bad that I don't even want to navigate through it because it looks like it was put up by a 10 year old.

They also only give winners. I want to see some of the albums and artists that were nominated but did not win for any year.

I have searched and searched, but could not find anything.

That was an excellent rendition of "London Calling" by The Boss, Silvio, Elvis, and Dave!

The only two REAL options for Best Album are Norah and Bruce. It's a toss up. Of course i'd like to see Norah get it, but i feel like Bruce is going to get the Courtesy-Nod.

Anyone know what Avril's inside jacket said that she showed to everyone at the beginning of her song? (obviously CBS didn't want us to see).

She's such a bad a$$.

Anyone else agree that Limp Bizkit (thankfully) is finally done? After hearing their new song and seeing Fred tonight, I think its official (or lets all pray it is).

From a photo on Yahoo, it looks like "Rock On". One word on each side.

Hey, Avril suffers for her art!

Problem is...so do the rest of us.

Does this mean we'll never see Norah again? Didnt' this happen to Lauren Hill? Where has she been?

Was Peter Gabriel nominated for anything?

Who cares, he is awesome and should have performed anyway.

If Lauren Hill came back on the scene i think she'd do pretty well. She hasn't released anything since her last effort. I've always hoped for a fugees reunion, which will never happen.

I am going to have to trash my Converse. Now that Avril has been sporting them, it feels I am nuturing her "punk" cause.

And I can't be doing that.

Congrats Norah!

(damn, and I always had such good reasons to hate the Grammys and regard them as a complete joke, then they have to go and give Norah all those awards, while snubbing Avril. Makes me almost respect the Grammys; well, this year, at least.)

Hopefully she [Norah] won't believe her hype. Lauren's done it. I think Alicia's on her way..

I don't know about that...her last album "unplugged" was a MESS. As for the Fugees, Clef is on record NUMEROUS time that Lauryn's the one holdin' it up..

Yeah, in fact i heard that somewhere this week. Can't remember where though. Never heard the unplugged album. In her defense, the R&B unpluggeds always come off a little scattered. I wasn't a Fan of "Miseducation" or Lauren Hill really, but i understood her popularity, and think she'd rekindle it if she came back.
