Hmmm...I'd really like to see the Springsteen/Costello/Bowie tribute to Joe Strummer and wouldn't mind seeing Norah Jones and Coldplay perform. Hopefully, there's a list of what time artists will perform...I don't really give a rat's ass about the Grammies...

I would guess Springsteen would go first, since he did at the vmas. also, am I the only one who cares about the actual awards?

No host? Wow. That's so common sense it's almost scary.

And from the granny awards, no less.

I still don't "get" Norah Jones's music, too slow for me, I suppose.

Faith Hill looked great, but sounded awful, and off key. I think her voice doesn't do "Cry" justice when she sings it live when she tries to higher some upper registers (the tank's empty).

you know i always hate this about the grammys! they always give an award to the performer right after they perform. it's so obvious who's going to win after a performance. the grammys are notorious for that!

I hate how the Grammy's have a pattern...

A. Now performing... (artist here)

B. Now an award for best blah-blah... (artist from above)

C. Award goes to... (duh... artist from above)

First ND then NJ... arrgghh!!!!!

Ya but I thought her legs looked pretty hot, and did that one low angle camera view give us an upskirt shot?

My wife is a huge Norah Jones fan, but as we were watching, I remarked to her that I could see a performer like Jones in a nightclub type setting where I was maybe having a dinner and some drinks.
I could not just sit in one seat and look and listen to her style of music for two hours in a straight concert setting.

Maybe that's my problem, I mainly listen to music while driving to work, and if I were listening to Norah Jones, I might be too relaxed and wind up in a ditch.

Is John Mayer really 16 years old?

I didn't really understand much of what he was singing during his performane. But it was interesting to contrast his one-man performance with Vanessa Carlton's orchestra-backed performance (that song was fresh 6 months ago, but now, it just went on and on and on....) I did enjoy the duo of Yo-Yo Ma and James Taylor.

I'm not all that crazy about the remake of Landslide by the Dixie Chicks.

What was with that posse with Eminem when he showed up to collect his Grammy?

Well, So Far so Good. "No-host" is working out well, but you can tell they've made the show very performance heavy. No complaints.

Did dustin hoffman really need to show up Drunk??

John Mayer And Norah Jones Both Won at least 1! That makes me happy enough!

Now if we can jsut get through the night without Avril winning one, it'll be the best grammy's in 4 years.
