ARGGHH!! Where'd you hear/see this??

Ah well, I think I spent $10, maybe $15 on it. I'll double dip on this one for sure.

The Clash had me hooked with "Know Your Rights" way back when.

I just bought the 1999 remastered version of "London Calling"
and it says "bonus tracks".

It actually has 19 songs.

How many are on the original UK version or whatever??

THANKS

(sounds great BTW)

Meanwhile, there's some new activity in the Clash camp. According to a group spokesperson, Strummer was compiling the tracklist for an "Essential Clash" collection before his death. The set is expected March 11 via Epic. The DVD edition of the 2000 Clash home video "Westway to the World" is also being refurbished with a never-before-seen home movie, "Hell W10," directed by Strummer and starring his Clash bandmates Mick Jones and Paul Simonon.

The DVD will also feature the band's music videos and extra interviews not included on its first pressing. "Westway to the World," directed by Don Letts, is up for best longform music video at this year's Grammy Awards.
Coolness. Yeah, I'll double dip for that.

There was only one version and it also had 19 songs. Train in Vain wasn't listed due to a last minute inclusion, but it was on the original. I don't know what they mean by bonus tracks.

Another release to keep in mind for Clash fans is the second album from Big Audio Dynamite, "No. 10, Upping St.". Joe and Mick had patched things up by this time, and Joe co-wrote half the songs with Mick---and they co-produced it, as well. "Sightsee M.C." kicks some serious a$$, IMO.

The Mustapha Dance
This is Radio Clash(****ing brilliant and heavy lyrics that most people don't get)
Straight to Hell(see Radio Clash)
Charlie Don't Surf
Corner Soul
London Calling
Broadway
The Guns of Brixton
Sound of the Sinners
