Which, incidentally, was a cover of a one-hit wonder by Wild Cherry in 1976.

I'll agree with the Vapors -- as much as I love their best-known song, I'd say "Spring Collection" and "News at 10" are even better.

This breaks my heart. The best band of the 90s remembered for THAT song. Jeez.

Luckily, they don't fit the mold of a 1-hit band. They've got 4 studio albums, are currently touring, and are releasing a new disc in a couple of months after the members did some solo-record-soul-cleansing.

Anyway, their single "Dim" placed at #24 on Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart, and their sophomore album "American highway Flower" charted, with the single "All I Am" staying on the charts for 8 weeks.

Nothing they ever did was #1, but they're definately not a one-trick pony.

In all fairness, Dada's "Puzzle" has a number of good (and better songs than Dizzyknee Land). The power of radio (I say that under my breath slightly) can work for a band's advantage and expose equally better songs than what the Radio can and won't play.

Tripping Daisy - "Blown Away", even though "I Got A Girl" was the more popular of the two.

You have to give A-ha credit for a band to stick around eight years and still write great (if not better) songs than the one's on their debut album.
