a much better song, I think. still...I cant find it on any top 40 hit lists. maybe I missed it. they did have another top 40 hit though...so they are not a one hit wonder, really. correction on my part....I thought T. Tutone had only one hit. then I remebered Angel Say No.

"No More Words" hit #23 on the charts, and I seem to remember "Sex (I'm A...)" being a minor hit too.

I still have that LP...there are a few other nice tunes on there as well.

From what I understand, Ram Jam never did anything on the same level as Black Betty afterwards. That song absolutely flippin' rocks though, in a Led Zeppelin-lite kind of way.

Wow, this thread has a Bang Tango reference, yes! How about;

Kingdom Come - Get it On
Tora Tora - Walkin' Shoes
Lynch Mob - Wicked Sensation

and I forget his name, but I love Jane's Gettin Serious

Regardless of what Aimee Mann has done in her solo career, her old band 'Til Tuesday never had a hit besides "Voices Carry", at least as far as I know. . .

That's a shame I forgot about that song!!Ughh! Your right! In 1990 the song was a huge hit. Then came "Rhythm is a Dancer", the follow-up hit.

Even in the US Der Kommissar, Vienna Calling, Jeanny, and at least one other song were hits. And in Europe he had a lot more releases (and hits). And if you don't believe me, try listening to his song Naked and tell me if that wouldn't be a big hit in the US if it were ever released here.

Europe doesn't count. "It's like I always say, 'Germans like David Hasselhoff.'"
