True, a-ha never matched the hit they had with "Take on Me" but they've had some other good songs ("The Sun Always Shines on TV" from that album, for example or the theme to The Living Daylights).

Now if I can only recommend (quite highly) Minor Earth Major Sky which I considered one of my favorite albums of 2000 (alongside Dave Matthews Band's The Lillywhite Sessions and Don Byron's A Fine Line).

If you guys need to sample some of the tracks to believe me, please do so... Every single song on the album is listenable with most of them being downright enjoyable.

Oh, Greg...how could you forget Norman's follow-up "Canned Ham"

"When you gonna buy me a Canned Ham"

It made #46 on the charts...doesn't that qualify?

The Bus: Have you got the new A-ha album "Lifelines", waiting for my copy from Amazon any day now. Also picked up their Region 2 concert vid, I recommend it to any A-ha fan who has a region-free player.

(The Bus) what's your favourite song off of "Minor Earth.." it's a toss up between "Little Black Heart" and "Summer Moved On" for me.

Big Country also had a minor hit with "Fields Of Fire" - an excellent track, IMHO.

I'll do you one better. Doctor and the Medics with their remake of Norman Greenbaum's Spirit in the Sky.

There are too many to list, but one that sticks in my mind at the moment is Tarzan Boy - Baltimora.

I always hear Lisa Lobe called a one hit wonder, but I liked most of her songs - I don't know if they were hits or not, but they were good.

Lisa Loeb, is definitely NOT a one-hit wonder! Stay was very popular as well as some other hits that made on the charts. She may not be popular, but she is very talented and love her music.

My favorite one hit wonder is by Vanilla Ice.

Actually, the Outfield had at least 4-5 hit singles: Your Love, Voices of Babylon, For You, Say It Isn't So, and Closer to Me.

Great one, rkndkn! I loved their follow-up Megaforce just as well though.
