The 4 available showings in Philly are basically sold out except for a handful of front row seats.

I have some NFT's for those people...
Also, I thought it was only an AMC thing, pulling a little grift. Seems it is more of a hype thing. Makes me feel better.

The Odyssey miniseries from 1997 was hugely entertaining to me, I'll be interested to see how this one turns out. Nolan can direct a pretty good film...

We could see them filming some ship scenes in the Falls Lake tank from the ET parking garage at Universal Studios Hollywood on Tuesday night. My wife and one of my kids got photos before the security guy yelled at us, lol.

It's just crazy to me how on-schedule Nolan is with his stuff. This fully shot in 91 days.

Was the prologue playing at all IMAX branded theaters in front of Avatar 3 or just the 70mm ones?

Re: The Odyssey (2026, D: Nolan)
Mine was not 70 mm. Possible that it’s on a per theater basis though. Got the brief Avengers teaser too.
An employee even announced that they were going to stop the credits after Avatar due to the quick showtime turnaround.

Prologue was indeed very cool.(AMC IMAX) A neat detail I noticed was the guy quickly wiping the blood off the sword after it stabbed someone inside the Trojan Horse. The newest teaser is also playing in theaters as well, it should be online (officially) in the next few days.

The prologue in IMAX was pretty cool. I am guessing this movie starts with the Trojan War ending ? Curious who that big armored person was entering the gates of Troy once Odysseus and company finished their job.

The prologue in front of Avatar 3 was also truncated, so it definitely looked choppy on purpose.

The best thing about this film is knowing that now we won't have to worry about 4ft 2inch tall Tom Holland being cast in a film as Hercules or Achilles.
