There's always a debate on when do we see Bruce for the first time (outside of a dorsal fin).
I always found the estuary scene his first since he does break the surface...

but I'm sure many people consider the chum scene to be it.

That's what I found interesting about Jaws. I was thinking there had to be an iconic reveal but the movie is so much about building tension that there isn't just one big reveal. It's more about the constant terror of if he'll show up.

More like Spielberg hiding a wonky mechanical shark as much a possible.

and he’s on screen for less than 40 min and only after 1:30ish so that’s exactly it and what it that more frightening when I first saw it only like 10 or so years ago. Maybe 15 now.

That’s the -A, used in the last three TOS movies.

Good Lord how could no one mention Hannibal Lecter?

In the book, Lecter was lying on his cot reading a magazine. Anthony suggested to Demme that Lecter be standing and waiting for Clarice because he could smell her coming. It worked.
On TV, I'd say 7 of 9's intro on Voyager was pretty memorable in an "oh damn that is one hot Borg" kind of way.

I love those scenes and Star Lord was especially memorable because it was so different then any other super hero entrance. But to nitpick does the no man's land scene count as an intro? I would counter with her Wonder Woman's intro in Batman v Superman. A rare bright spot in an otherwise questionable movie.

After all the Jaws talk how could we not have thought of this? Such an amazingly shot scene.

@.46 seconds.
Everyone lost their shit back in '95 when both of them came through the door. Such a shame the new film is fucking trash.
