And because I want to talk it into existence, Ghostbusters Afterlife.

I don't know if the 3rd one technically qualifies as a film, just barely maybe. But if it does, it's definitely a remake.

You mean, as the third film in a trilogy that's worse than Godfather III? Otherwise I've no idea what it's doing in this thread.

Return of the Jedi edges out BTTF3. I would agree BTTF3 has better pacing but Jedi has some great scenes and introduced some legendary characters like Jabba and the Emperor.

I'd say that ROTJ and BTT3 are evenly matched. BTTF3 is solid entertainment but lacks the emotional power of the previous two installments and ROTJ has the SAGGIEST middle of an otherwise good movie I've ever seen. I usually just skip around and watch my favorite scenes from both of those movies. It's rare that I watch either of them from beginning to end.

The Emperor was in Empire, albeit a different actor.

Smokey and the Bandit III: Smokey is the Bandit

Seriously, though, probably The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, followed by Return of the Jedi and Army of Darkness.

I thought Men in Black 3 was better than 2 and has a slight edge on part 1

Revenge of the Sith was the best of the prequel trilogy, but that's really not saying much.
