Might Fett be the big baddie of the Solo film?

I hope so.

That actually would be a decent idea. In the Original Trilogy there was always a sense that Han knew of Boba somehow but they barely interact. That could also elevate the Han Solo film which I'm fairly meh on at the moment.

I'd almost prefer they make Han and Fett reluctantly work together at some point, maybe in a deal that quickly goes south. Or have them be competitors for the same job. Something to provide some tension between the two without resorting to an outright fight.

Scoundrels by Timothy Zahn had Han SOlo and Boba Fett sorta work together. I thought it was decent heist story.
Also requesting Episode X: Luke and Rey kick Yuuzhan Vong ass.

2. Darth Maul went out like a bitch.

3. That's some impressive voice work for Obi-Wan. He sounds really similar to Guinness.

This is fan made, but I thought it was really cool. A spaghetti western style Kenobi movie is exactly what I'd have in mind.
I decided to draw and design my own poster for an Obi Wan Kenobi standalone film - in the style of a Spaghetti Western

Per THR article in the Obi-Wan thread:

Lucasfilm is also looking at movies featuring Yoda and bounty hunter Bob Fett, among others.

So far none of these spinoff movies are very surprising concepts. They seem to be just doing the most obvious ideas that any casual Star Wars fan could think of.

I'm still hoping they go back thousands of years before SW and give us a massive Sith following.

I just don't see Disney making solo movies of villains. I think if we get Boba Fett it will be in something like the Han Solo film.

And seriously... who wants to see a Yoda movie? Why not do a Darth Vader movie instead. I would prefer to see a full length movie following him around being a bad ass.

The hard part would be trying to figure out how to get C3PO and R2D2 to appear and fit in to every spinoff storyline.

But we haven't really seen Vader be a badass -- save for a two minute tirade in R1. I want to see him hunt down the jedi. I'd also be open to new characters and adventures but if Disney MUST rehash old characters, give me Vader every day over freaking Yoda.

There's definitely a lot of room to work with to make an interesting Vader movie. I'm sure eventually it'll happen, there's no way Disney doesn't capitalize on a popular character like him.
I almost think they'll have to drop this at some point. You can work them into a lot of settings but they can't fit into every story without feeling forced.

It makes sense. If the films had continued after the originals were made we probably would have gotten more Luke, Leia, and Han too. Rey and Finn are both played by young enough actors that they can last a couple trilogies.
