Was talking to my wife that the movie had a lot of second generation Hollywood people including Andie's daughter, Uma and Ethan's daughter and Kevin Smith's daughter.

Granted, it was the bottom of her feet. Either the floor of the theater was very dirty or Sharon Tate didn't wash her feet.

Yeah, she was a ballerina for years and years.

I heard it’s $40, which is a bit like RSD pricing, but makes sense for the exclusive. Will probably be lower with the other editions later.

It felt very “Rosemary’s Baby” to me, but nope. Something else.

Saw it again today. This time watched the digital version.

I thought i saw a bench advertising the Hobo Kelly Show. Watched that as a kid in L.A..

Anyone know if that dog food was a real product with those flavors?

I saw Perla Haney-Jardine's name in the credits, but wasn't sure where she was.

She played BB in Kill Bill Volume 2

I'm not quite sure what to think of this movie yet, I'm gonna need to digest it, probably needs another viewing. Meanwhile, this weekend I'll be watching Jim Van Bebber's The Manson Family. Because as much as I like seeing what happened to Tex, Susan, and Katie (in Tarantino's film), I know that's just not how it went down.
Oops, you're right. Wine induced brain fart on my part.

Anyway, upon further reflection after a day thinking about the film and processing it more for what it was instead of what it wasn't, I've come to change my opinion on it, and if I'd waiting to vote today, I'd probably give it a solid 4 stars. I'll try to revisit it in the next week or so if I get the chance.

Re: Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (Tarantino, 2019) — The Spoiler Filled Reviews Thread

Caught this today with the folks, who coincidentally got married in the Summer of '69. We all liked it. I personally don't think it's QT's best movie, but it's definitely my favorite of the year behind Rocketman in terms of quality. I think Tarantino is still kind of smarting from losing his editor Sally Menke, as several scenes felt a bit drawn out. I think a more appropriate title for the movie would have been "The Adventures of Rick and Cliff", as it's pretty much all about DiCaprio and Pitt. Robbie did good with what she had, but she was mostly there to look pretty. I really do hope someone gives her another role to run with like they did with " I' Tonya", as she's got true talent and shouldn't be relegated to playing Harley Quinn. It's obvious the Tarantinoverse has some alternate history going on in it, but I'm okay with that.

Way before my time, but it was still so cool to see the old LA channels being advertised. Channel 9 (Black Belt Theater & *Movie Macabre), Channel 11 (Didn't get to watch this often because the reception was ALWAYS bad), Channel 13 (Westerns, War movies) I didn't spot Channel 5 anywhere, but I knew that network best for Godzilla movies,Planet/Apes and Little Rascals!

*It was very cool to catch a glimpse of "Fright Night" hosted by that John Carradine lookalike, Larry Vincent!

Rumored? I've never heard of that and there's no mention of it in the film.

Now this is a true story and it's fucked up, but he was not a suspect by the police, just Polanski:Why Bruce Lee Was a Suspect in the Gruesome Murder of Sharon Tate

During that time period, it was the in thing. I think the Mansion murders might of been what scared a lot of celebrities away. Jayne Mansfield was also rumored to be into it. She and her husband where decapitated in a car accident.
I remember watching a segment of a E! True Hollywood special mentioning where Martin and Davis Jr tried to join to meet young women, but were freaked out by what they witness.

It might of just been research for Rosemary's Baby.?

Jane Mansfield was not decapitated. Her wig had come off and that started rumors that it was her head.

Re: Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (Tarantino, 2019) — The Spoiler Filled Reviews Thread

I didn't spot Clu Gulager, Martin Kove, James Remar or Rebecca Gayheart in it. Can someone tell me who they played and what scenes they were in?

Thanks.
