People are complaining about Get Out in the comedy category, but look at those nominees. None of them are musicals or comedies. A bunch of satirical biopics about eccentric people. If I made an actual comedy in 2017 I’d be pissed.
Same with the acting categories. Is Battle of the Sexes really a comedy?

We couldn’t use the existing 2018 Golden Globes thread?

The Martian won, it was hilarious. Matt Damon losing all that weight and all that hair, too funny.
Get Out does have a lot of comedic overtones, though it’s very dark comedy.
Still think Thor Ragnarok was Ragna-robbed of a nomination in that category, but whatever, it’s just a silly awards show at this point that likes to nominate stars to see if they’ll show up.

I’ve always assumed it was in the TV forum for the tv parts of the show and the Movie forum for the movie parts. Unless of course, you want to keep up with what the stars are wearing in the Golden Globe thread.
It’s not like this forum is so jumping anymore that we’re all going to lose track of two threads.
Personally, I really have only ever cared about the film portion of the GGs.
