I think it's safe to say you have at least 1 match with me

Was hoping for more from Inside Out (obviously by my mediocre slam use). It's a sheep question, and I figured everyone would at least remember what won this year

I went with recency bias, plus I wasn't sure when the award was created.

Yeah. Didn't risk the slam. But I first read this as a reverse, so the recent answer became easy.

Damn. I totally and completely suck at this. And here I thought I actually was going to do well at a sheep game for once.

Never a good mistake to confuse a sheep question with a reverse question. Though if Bootsy did it, he would've won some games, earned nothing but praise from the sheepmaster and fellow players, and he'd still be with us today on the forums.

Somebody needs to explain the Boosty references to me. They're apparently before my time.

It was probably brewing for a while, but I think this is the sheep game that broke Bootsy.

In short ... he was a player that couldn't take the good natured joking (especially when someone gave a bad answer) without getting angry. Bootsy thought the game was serious business, and the thread should just be lists of results (no jokes, no comments). I think things came to a head when Bootsy slammed one of his sheep answers ... which ended up being unique. People had a good laugh and Bootsy took his ball and went home.

I think that was Bootsy's last game. Maybe there was another one where he flipped out even worse. But he wasn't long for the forums after that.

And that's why when you play a slam on a unique sheep question, it's called a Bootsy

It started with this post (from another sheep game) and it basically snowballed from there.
http://forum.dvdtalk.com/11592739-post263.html

Quick synopsis: he had a poor use of a {sd} and started complaining and pulling a hissy fit about it when the sheepmaster pointed it out.

Brainee, I think he actually popped up on another sheep game (within the last two years) and started complaining about using the bootsy moniker. He still sounded butthurt. Let me try and find it.

It may be this game, starting here. And I think this was the last hurrah...

The entire thread starting from that point is pretty awesome.

I just read through some of that NFL game. I forgot about the days of stacking dunks--basically if you didn't stack them all on the right answer, you were done. I don't think I started the single-dunk restriction, but I followed it fairly soon after.

And I did fairly well in that game! For the most part, though, I suck at playing so I had to take a break when I was taking it too seriously.

And there was also the game when he got pissed about missing the deadline and posted his answers (many of them bad) in the thread just to show he would've won the game given the chance.

I kept expecting him to show up in the Sheep Sheep game when he was a question.

Be warned ... that first image you're hit with after clicking on the link is a roughie!

That's the game where I drew a brain blank on the question to name a player not in the NFL Hall of Fame who should be and answered Pete Rose ... and I got a match!

Re: Movie Talk (REVERSE) Sheep: PIXAR edition

I had forgotten how much it sucked when people could win a game by just slapping five {sd}s on one well-chosen question. Glad that's gone by the wayside.
Though I do vaguely remember somebody once did a double {sd} on a Reverse Sheep question which made it the same as a regular Reverse Sheep question and costing them two {sd}s in the process.

Yeah that's the one. He makes Arpeggi look sane and rational in that particular sheep game. He was picking fights with everyone in that game it seems.

Time to break out the tissues. Because these results are bound to make a couple of players cry.

9. PIXAR movies are known for tugging at the heart strings. Name the saddest movie moment featured in a PIXAR film (movie title and brief description of the scene).

It's so hard to say goodbye... to a poorly placed {sd}
Spoiler:

Obiwan Jabroni Andy passes his toys along/Toy Story 3 {sd} -4

And two players threw their {sd} into the incinerator.
