But he didn't buy the museum before he did it like Stark in another universe. So FAIL. :(

Superhero movies will remain popular as long as the movies are enjoyable and not Batman & Robin quality. There are always a new crop of young boys and teenagers looking for the next big superhero movie. It's possible that adults begin to show waning interest, but they aren't driving the box office anyway.

But how can he do that on a journalist's salary? Speaking of - has that EVER been addressed? What's the quality of Kent's journalist skills? I think we need a whole movie on that.

Yeah. Even recent flops such as The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Fantastic Four don't seem to be doing much to turn the audience away. I think it'd take a film of Batman & Robin levels with one of the major heroes to really turn people off.

Could everyone be discounting the built in Geek audiences and the rising mainstreaming and popularity of Geek/Nerd Culture? Even marginally interested folks are following Geek Culture and living vicariously through them. I think that adds a bit to audience numbers when Comic Book films and shows come out.

Yup, that's another reason why I don't think comic book movies are failing anytime soon. Hell, the amount of merchandise is still growing the way toys and things are popping up everywhere - not only stores like Barnes and Noble, but there always seems to be 1 or 2 nerdy stores at malls these days, at least around me.

So after thousands were killed and injured during the fight, that one family is what motivates him to kill Zod. Stupid. -rolleyes-

Another factor is that in an era of $13-$20 tickets, these are the types of movies begging to be seen on the big screen. Latest Tarantino flick? I can watch that at home and enjoy it just as well as on the big screen. So even with a bomb here and there, these are the movies tailor made for the theater experience.
