The last time I saw a comedy in theaters was Clerks II. It was great, but I had made an exception. Hell, I think the comedy I saw previous that in theaters was Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and Me, Myself, and Irene. 3 comedies in theaters in the last 17 years or so...
Comedies tend to play better for me at home.

I agree that a good comedy can be made better (or at least seem that way) by the communal experience. There's lots of stuff that I enjoyed in a theater with a roaring audience that didn't feel quite when I watched it at home by myself.

I'm not gonna lie, I rented this from the library to check out Kristen Bell. She looked pretty good. The movie was a waste of time though.

Watched this with some friends while buzzed and it was funny and fun. Some of the cinematography used during the POV shots of the motorcycles was unreal and crystal clear. I would not be surprised if the film was shot in native 4K.
Fuck the 16% on RT this is at least a 25%. I had a blast.
