I loved his performance in Bowling For Columbine, I just wish the shots featuring his stand-in weren't so obvious.

I like him almost all his films from 'The Big Country' to Ben Hur to 10 Commandments to POTA etal.

Not a big fan, his acting could sometimes be on the stiff side and very theatrical. He did do some good stuff (Planet of the Apes, Major Dundee) along with some bad stuff (Earthquake, Airport, The Awakening).

IMO the best film starring Heston (not necessarily made better because of him - A Mexican, really?) and one of the greatest films of all time :
