Exactly. No one here knew Paul Walker personally. No one knows his family. There's no reason that someone should be obligated to treat the death of a person they've never met in a sacred manner just because he was in a few movies, especially when he died doing something stupid (or at the very least, willingly participating). Jokes are allowed for Paul Walker just as much as for any non-famous person whose death has ever been made fun of in Otter.

Personally, the gallows humor and inappropriate laughs are half the reason I love this forum so much!

Re: Paul Walker has died.

Fellow scumbags,

Paul Walker died from the combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries ... this according ot the L.A. County Coroner's Office.

The man who was driving the car, Roger Rodas, died from multiple traumatic injuries. Burning was not listed as a factor in his death.

Sources in the coroner's office tell us ... both men were positively ID'd by using dental records.

Walker and Rodas were killed Saturday in Santa Clarita when the sports car veered off the road, slammed into a pole and exploded in flames. The cause of that crash is still under investigation.

Thermal injuries? Is that a pc way of saying he burned to death? Fucking awful.

Hopefully the traumatic injury knocked him out before he burned.

I basically agree with you.

I've noticed recently that the dickheads have come out of the woodwork here. Most discussions aren't even fun anymore.

Re: Paul Walker has died.

Universal will donate a portion of the proceeds from the home entertainment sales of “Fast & Furious 6” to Paul Walker’s charity Reach Out WorldWide, which connects a network of skilled first-responders to the victims of natural disasters.

“Fast & Furious 6” will become available on Blu-Ray, DVD, On Demand and digital storefronts Dec. 10. The movie was one of the year’s most successful films, grossing $788.7 million at the global box office.

Wonder how big a portion? Are they talking a Kim Kardashian portion?

Yes.

He initially survived the horrific car crash but died moments later due to a combination of injuries from the impact and the resulting fire.

He burned to death.

Well that sucks. Pretty amazing that they can actually tell that from a charred corpse though.

So now online people are flipping out that his GF was probably 16 when he started dating her. The tide is turning.

Re: Paul Walker has died.

Horrible way to go.
Some have said you can see 'someone' moving while the car is on fire in one of the videos.
I 'kinda' see something but really hoping it isn't Paul trying to get out.

I imagine the blunt force trauma alone was clearly fatal in the case of the driver whereas the traumatic injuries alone were less severe to the point of being survivable in PW's case. I doubt there was too much CSI-style testing behind the determination.

There also would have been factors like inhaled smoke that would tell if one of them died instantly and the other lived for a while. Even if he was unconscious he probably would have been breathing.

HuffingtonPost is reporting that the good people at Westboro Baptist Church tweeted that they planning on picketing his funeral.

Agreed on both counts. I was hoping both men died on impact. Barring that, I hope Walker was out cold as he burned to death so as not to feel a thing.

Wow talk about someone being butthurt. lol If you want me to think better of you, this isn't the way to go about it.

And for the record, I don't find anything Christian about Westboro. They are just constantly trying to push ppl's buttons for attention.
