It's a good thing they didn't kill anyone else due to their stupidity.

Everyone will go out and pay outrageous prices for these titles, and then I'll be waiting till next spring when Gohasting has them for a few bucks.
Not including a 40% OFF code.

I can't recall any instance of an actor's untimely death causing DVD/BluRay prices to soar.

Sad. He wasn't a great actor, but he was more than adequate for what his parts called from him. He was also enjoying a second career high with these new F&F movies.

She's certainly attractive but I wouldn't classify her as "fine as fuck."
That, and social media playing in with all of us being able to see see up close photos of the mangled wreck along with videos of the burning wreckage and I can see why it was a big deal.
Although Heath Ledger was a better actor, his death was humongous when it happened. But, if he hadn't been cast as the Joker, what would've been the headline? "Star of A Knight's Tale and Mel Gibson's son in 'The Patriot' dies of accidental OD." And you would've had people asking "Who?"
Walker was lucky to have been involved with the F&F franchise, that's for sure, but it doesn't make his death any less horrible given the magnitude. I know when I go I don't want it to be as a charred beyond recognition corpse.

Damn. He played characters that I never really sympathized with. I always think of his performances as frat-boy broseph-ey.
But that's a kick to the gut. Death can come for you anytime. In an instant. Regardless of your status, your health, or how good you're feeling.

Yeah he wasn't going to win any awards or anything but the roles he played he was fine I thought.

There might be a spike in sales, but prices won't go up on the individual discs. Hell, all of the F&F movies were on sale for Black Friday at Best Buy over the weekend, and you can pick up a bundle of the first five for under $40 at Amazon at the moment.

A little history of the actual car.

It may have had low mileage but it could have been all hard miles. I don't know maybe it was babied but I'd definitely give it a once over or maybe more if it exchanged hands 6 times in it's short life.

I still laugh at the "accidental OD" - as if that excuses the fact that he was a junkie. Most ODs are accidental.

Rahal is reported to have been the previous owner (5th owner) to Rodas.

"I get bored with cars pretty quickly," he said in a story published earlier this year. "The Carrera GT is just harder to drive, and I drive my cars a lot. Nothing that I have will not be used. Every car that I have will be driven a lot. I have two cars that are old that don't get used that often, but that is rare."
Rahal compared the Carrera GT to a 2010 Ferrari 599 GTO. Some of his observations and his descriptions of how difficult the Carrera was to drive are chilling in light of the crash.
"It says it has traction control, but that traction control on that car is not going to do a thing to save you," Rahal said. "And that's what I love about it. Part of me is very happy about it and part of me regrets it. It was a great, great car.
"With the GTO, the noise, the shifts, the fact that it's still evolving, with the dual-clutch gearboxes these days, you don't even feel it shift. I'm not really a fan of that," he says. "I like to feel that you're interacting with the car. This [GTO] still has the old style, so you can feel it shift. That's what I personally enjoy about it, whereas a lot of the new cars you can't feel it at all. To me it becomes more like you're driving a computer than driving a car.
"The carbon clutch, things like that are a challenge, whereas the 599 you hop in, off you go. It's pretty simple," he said. "But if I was insanely wealthy and could have 10 supercars, a Carrera GT would be one. I would have to be somewhat of a garage queen, because long-term, I think that is a fantastic investment. I think that the Porsche collectors would agree."

I feel absolutely no need to critique someone's life like that. You can always talk about their work and movies. But talking about a dead celebrity's personal life is stupid.
Heath Ledger was in some really good movies, playing characters I remember.
Paul Walker was alright in movies. Kind of what I said above. There's the F&F movies and Running Scared. Sucks that he had to die early. He could have been an actor that evolved into playing some really awesome roles.

Re: Paul Walker has died.
Film wise? You had
Vic Morrow - Twilight Zone: The Movie
John Candy - Wagon's East!
the girl from Poltergeist - Poltergeist III
Brandon Lee - The Crow
Heath Ledger - The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus
Oliver Reed - Gladiator
I'm sure there are plenty of others. I think River Phoenix was filming something when he died. The way Gilliam decided to shoot Parnassus after Ledger passed was intriguing since Heath Ledger's portion of the film could be considered "finished" by casting the other actors in his role.
I've still never seen it. I've been meaning to.
