The closest thing I could find were these stories from NBC and CBS but they say the victims have not been identified. This is up in Santa Clarita:

Yes, the movie is the chief tragedy. Not the loss of human life.

Then again, I'm the asshole that immediately asked "so what becomes of the rights to Halloween"? when I was first told of the death of Moustapha Akkad and Rima Akkad Monla back in 2005. So I guess that makes me the Kettle in this scenario.
