Does MGM and Amazon own this?

Do you think it will disappear from Amazon?

Honestly I was a "disc" only guy as well for a long time but then Vudu had so many movies for like $5 and the quality to me looks just fine and sounds good so I rarely purchase discs anymore.

In fact Tubi carries so many of the older movies and stuff I have wanted to see for ages I rarely have to purchase anything anymore.

I know its off topic but who would have thought West World would disappear from HBO but here we are. never got a disc for that show and it's only a rental or disc purchase now.

Maybe Road House goes to MGM + or TNT or some other network or it will be something they keep forever to entice subscribers?

Discs have value if you don't want to subscribe to Prime or Apple + for the rest of your life and save money and no commercials and buffering or lost internet connection issues.

About disc format, that's fine if the physical format isn't for a lot of people, but don't get it twisted, the picture and audio quality on a 4K disc can't be beat, I don't care how good steaming is (and it's damn good), nothing beats that physical.

But for a movie like this it doesn’t matter to me. It’s not a demo for my system or anything.

Bad, but at least it wasn't boring

Conor's acting was terrible, as expected. Really over the top.

Story was stupid, the CGI was cringe (when Dalton dove into the truck bed which was going like 100 at him)

Jake was good though and committed to the role and the action choreography was decent enough

I thought Conor did a good job chewing scenery as a roided and tweaked Florida boy.

Re: Road House - remake (2024, D: Liman) S: Gyllenhaal

It was ok but is it popular enough to get a sequel?

Maybe it drew more people to Prime and will continue?

Billy Magnusson always plays the douche in the movie.

They never showed the big boss or the dad of the Billy Magnusson character and maybe he shows up and John Cena or a big name star like Liam Neeson or Nic Cage could fill that role in the sequel.

The Road House remake is now for sale on Vudu. It's an encouraging sign maybe we will see a blu-ray or 4k release.

At 121-minutes, this film felt like it wore out its welcome fairly quick.

Even so, I enjoyed Jake Gyllenhaal's role as Dalton.
