Re: "Superfast" A Fast and Furious Parody

Just saw this ridiculous trailer on Facebook.

They have a Taken spoof coming out, too. Something like "Who the f@#k took my daughter?"

Terrible.

EDIT: didn't see someone mentioned it, but still it sucks anyway.

Whatever happened to the one they were supposed to do called "The Most Expensive Movie Ever 3D" or something like that? I would like to see them try 3D (considering Epic Movie was shot in 1.85!)

Re: "Superfast" A Fast and Furious Parody

I used to love parody movies. And not just the ZAZ ones... I even liked National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon and Wrongfully Accused. But these guys are just the worst. They pick topics that shoudl write themselves and they still fail to deliver.

I especially hate the way they just throw in whatever flavor-of-the-month character/celeb like Napoleon Dynamite or Lady Gaga without any context and expect that to be a 'joke'. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Ray Rice elevator joke in here for whatever reason, except it ends in the woman beating the guy's ass.

Yes, but when Nolan delivers contrivance, plot holes and continuity errors, it's art! Don't you get it?

Wrong. It's really good entertainment. And I do get it. Do you?
