If you’re like me, hearing that The Fast and The Furious franchise has inspired a parody gives you that dull ache in the back of your head when you’re hungover. (Which I’m not. Promise.) Nonetheless THR reports writers-directors Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg are gearing up for Superfast, a spoof that’s meant to poke fun at the car chase franchise that already seems pretty well aware of its own outrageous quirks.
As Superfast nears its start date, the filmmakers are proud to announce they’ve found their Vin Diesel and Paul Walker for Superfast in Dale Pavinski and Alex Ashbaugh. This indie comedy will reportedly have a lean budget, so it’s little surprise that they’ve cast relative unknowns in the lead roles. Ashbaugh was recently seen in the notorious Lindsay Lohan vehicle The Canyons, and Pavinksi has scored bit parts in Underworld: Rise of the Lycans and Takers. Filling out their car-stealing crew will be Cloverfield’s Lili Mirojnick as the Mia (Jordana Brewster) equivalent, Law & Order’s Andrea Navedo as the Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) part, and 21 & Over’s Daniel Booko will play the lesser remembered role Matt Schulze portrayed in the original of Dom’s friend who doesn’t trust the gang’s newest member.

Airplane is the best one. Naked Gun rocks and so does Not Another Teen Movie. Don't Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood is another classic, as well.

What about Top Secret
Not too crazy about Don't Be A Menace, of those Wayans films I prefer I'm Gonna Git You Sucka.
For the hip-hop parodies nothing tops Fear of a Black Hat.
Then there's Black Dynamite which is the best of the current crop.

I can't even begin to describe how shitty this looks or how much I hate these miserable motherfucks. Friedberg and Seltzer need to just fucking end their lives ASAP. God I hate Hollywood. Fuck.

I had to look up who these guys were. I generally avoid spoofs as I don't find them at all funny. Except Airplane!, of course. This is very bad idea, and in very bad taste.
And there's another gem on the way in 2015... "Who The F#@K Took My Daughter?" My vote is for Liam Neeson to go kick some butt.

I've seriously never met anyone who likes these films. I'm not talking about snobby people like myself, even people to whom I've spoken who've payed to see them say they're stupid. Who still pays to see these things and why?

They're probably like an elaborate money laundering or tax evasion scheme. There's no other reason for them to exist. I doubt they make much money.

Just watched the trailer, this one likely has their trademark overly-long dance scene which was missing from their last opus "The Starving Games". Yes, I actually watch these guys' movies just to groan at how spectacularly stupid and un-funny they are. (But no, I don't spend any money on them.)

Probably less contrived and won't have as many plot holes and continuity errors as a Christopher Nolan film so of course all you are hating on it.

Seriously, why don't you start a thread in Otter where you express exactly when did Christopher Nolan start molesting you? Because the shame is clearly eating you up inside.
