I usually just go in and watch a movie. If I'm thirsty I may buy a small soda or if pushed in to it a small box of raisinettes or something.
My aunt makes a big deal, she buys nachos and hot dogs, and candy, and soda, the whole kit and caboodle.
I instead eat after the movie, I just want to see the movie.

Sometimes, but it's always at the lounge or restaurant - I'll get there early. If I do eat in the theater it'll be some caramel corn (Arclight Cinemas has the best) and a drink.

What I hate the most is that at my theater I try to order a medium drink and the cashier always punches a few buttons and then says "It's the same price if you just get a large". Then I say "Nah, I only want a medium" and they look at me like I'm the dumbest person on the face of the Earth. Like who is this moron that wouldn't buy a large for the same price as a medium? I've even gone so far as to order the large for the same price but ask them to only fill it up 3/4 full.
I replied, give me the one in the middle.
And I'll add, I hate folks who sneak in snacks sealed in a noisy cellophane bag.

I don't eat at the theater often but if I'm in the mood I mind grab some sort of candy. No popcorn and I rarely get soda.

I went with sneak in. I rarely buy the crap at the theater. If am doing a moviehopping day I try to bring granola bars. Often if going to the movie with friends we eat before. I often go to the movies which is why I signed up for moviepass. I would never buy candy at the theater since its so over priced when I can get a box for $1 at Walmart.

Rarely. Every once in a while the gf will want to get popcorn, and we'll split a medium or large one.
I never get drinks at the theater. Five bucks for a soda I can get at Quik Trip for $1? They can kiss my ass. (Besides, if I get a soda before the movie starts, I'll have drunk the whole thing in a half an hour and have to get up to piss at least twice.)

Hells yea.
Usually a small drink, so I don't have to pee half way through. And then popcorn (depending on mood ... popcorn can be gross sometimes), maybe some Dibs, maybe a pack of candy (usually Twizzlers or Red Vines).
And sometimes I stop at Starbucks and get a big coffee of some sort.

Whenever I stop by a CVS or Walgreens to pick up a bag of candy and a bottle of water the cashiers always ask "so what movie are you going to see?"

Depends on how long the movie is, and if I feel like going to a Drafthouse, or a regular theater. But sometimes, I don't get anything if I go to a regular theater, whereas if I hit a Drafthouse I will most certainly be getting something.

When I saw a lot of movies, I didn't usually order anything. Now that I only see three or four movies a year in the theater, I'm more likely to get popcorn.

I usually go to the concession stand and get popcorn and a large drink. The theater I go to has a refillable popcorn bucket that's fairly cheap so I usually get it filled. I normally don't eat a ton of it though but bring it home where it ends up getting eaten.

Most of the time no. Once a in a while I treat myself to theater popcorn which is awful for me between the sodium and fat.

A while back I knew a guy who managed a theater and he would have screenings for friends of his (usually around 7 people including me and my friends) on Thursday nights after the theater had closed. The movies were usually the mainstream crap that I wouldn't have seen if it weren't free. Anyway, we would usually bring in Whopper Jrs but other than that I haven't eaten at a theater since I was a kid.

Normally don't eat, but will take something in if I'm skipping a meal. Dark chocolate raisinettes and a bottle of water for anything over 2.5 hours long.

For many years I couldn't sit in a theater without a roll of Starbursts. I rarely ate them outside of a theater, but always had them in a movie. Now it's Twizzlers.
