I own this

I appreciate it even more the second time

I wish it got a 4k release.

Hugh Grant chewed up the scenery and except for maybe the barber scene it can be a movie that goes beyond the usualy typical kiddie fare.

Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons (2022) — Actually pretty fun science fiction adventure film that certainly has a thin plot but I found it to be pretty entertaining as a whole. The voice acting was okay though wasn't the biggest fan of those who voiced Batman and Superman, however they're secondary characters here. And surprisingly I wasn't totally annoyed with the Damian Wayne character who always was a brat both in the comic books and these animated movies. ***½/***** (4K Ultra HD)

Showtime but now I think HBO has the rights since it had been stored in my dvr for maybe 1 or 2 years?

Not as great as the reviews though a surprise cameo with David Bowie

Starz

It is not as bad as the reviews and I was maybe 6 when this incident happened and interesting to learn something you did not know

I was not a huge Molly Shannon fan when she was on SNL but this was funny and pretty good.

The Incredible Hulk (2008)…I’m not sure why this gets so much hate. It’s a perfectly good superhero movie. It had all the tropes. Down to a tee. I don’t get all the hate.

How’d they know Iron Man which opened 2 months earlier, I believe, would be such a hit? Because the teaser had to have been shot prior to opening of IM since they came out same year in 08. And, to have a plan already for MCU and Avengers (which was 4 years later) movies? That’s some sick shit right there.

I agree. It's been a while but the couple times I've watched I always found myself entertained...

HUSH (2016)

EH, she was annoying; hard to relate.

Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro - Hayao Miyazaki's first feature film, before Studio Ghibli was founded. I am not familiar with the manga from which the characters derive, nor have I watched or read any other Lupin stories. This was okay. Fun, but very silly. You can already see some of Miyazaki's favorite elements, such as airplanes/copters.

Hellraiser (2022)

If the filmmakers put as much work into the script as they did the visual aesthetics of the film, it would have been much stronger.

Loved Jamie Clayton as the Hell Priest.

Halloween Ends (2022)

An actual dumpster fire would have been more entertaining than what Director/Writer David Gordon Green presented here.

I found this while surfing my apps on my Samsung Smart TV

I did not know this was out since there was no PR and they did not appear on any of the talk shows to promote it.

It not morbid at all and funny and maybe you will feel better about your family.

Jeepers Creepers: Reborn (2022)

So far, this is the worst film that I have seen this year.

It's an absolute mess.

I also watched Terrifier last night based on the other thread. It was the second part of a double feature, the first movie was Dirty Dancing! Surprisingly not a bad double feature.

Halloween Ends (2022) Okay, seriously, when is the real "Halloween Ends" be released? What I saw for the bulk was some lame CW-like story. I have to think at this point David Gordon Green and the writer crew are just pulling a prank. I half expected a post-credit scene with Impractical Jokers...

I don't even know what to say. I had low expectations going in given how much I disliked Halloween Kills but Ends didn't even meet the lows of the lows. Really dumb. */*****

Easy A…what a delightful teen comedy. It really was great. I knew about it and saw pieces, but was just in the mood and this was perfect. It definitely is a great homage to Hughes’ movies this is spawned from. Just nice and syrupy sweet. Stone is so good. Was this her breakout role?

Showtime

Maybe one of the final films for Caan's and Paul Sorvino's.

I fell asleep for most of it.
