Alien: Covenant - 1.5/5

Another lazy half assed attempt to explore the origins of the alien. In some ways better than Prometheus and in others worse. One thing I can agree on is that neither are as good as the first three films. Yes, Alien 3 with its flaws and all is better than Prometheus & Covenant. Ridley Scott fails yet again with another good looking film that's hollow on the inside. Cash grabbing at its finest.

Drunken Angel (D: Kurosawa, S: Shimura, Mifune). Not a great movie, but that director has obvious talent.

Just got back from watching Valerian. Loved it (but could have done without DeHaan). Classic Besson! 3.5/5

Colombiana (2011) - The plot was so stupid but man, Zoe looked really good. Acting was not very good. I wouldn't include this in her best role portfolio...

Hacksaw Ridge - HBO. Fantastic, Andrew Garfield really deserved all the praise he received for this film

Not usually a fan of horror movies but this one I totally liked. You could actually see the guy acting and reacting that in way in the situation.

I'm playing golf at my high school reunion this coming weekend so I thought I'd watch this educational documentary. If not the number one certainly one of the top quotable movies of all time.
