Are you talking about the Uruk-hai towards the end of Fellowship when they all start running after hearing Boromir's horn? I know exactly which one you mean if so. So hilarious.

I remember seeing one of the Harry Potter films on a tv at Best Buy at 120hz, the sped up image was obvious and cheapened the look of the film. If the Hobbit looks like that, I'll be very disappointed.

Only if it's pan and scan. I hate when they cut off the picture at the top and bottom.

Yep, that was how I finally found out how my local theaters will be showing it. The listing on Fandango has been updated to show the specific 2D, 3D, HFR 3D and IMAX 3D presentations.

I took the plunge and bought my HFR tickets today. I hope I like it!

FUCK. I just got two advance tickets to this on Tuesday in an HFR setting, but I'm hosting a party that night. Had no trouble getting that James Cameron Cirque du Soleils movie for Thurs, or Warm Bodies for Wednesday, but this had to be on Tuesday. My friend offered to buy them though, so that's a consolation.

Giles it said your PM box was full, I had this additional message for you:

Damn! I forgot to mention this source, they emailed me with the screenings. Gofobo is the provider but this is the actual source of the codes.

http://www.screenit.com/sneak_previews.html

Make an account on Gofobo and I'll give you the codes, there might still be tickets.
