Holy shit, JJ and Disney really went all out! If the script is really as good as insiders have been saying, this movie is going to kick all kinds of ass.

It's really reminding me of how the originals were made, but with updated technology and techniques.

That video is absolutely fantastic. If the trailers weren't enough this boosted my confidence in this film so much. You can tell that the filmmakers are trying to be as respectful to the source material as possible and are giving everything to make a film that's got the same heart as the Original Trilogy. Loved seeing all the practical effects and people dressed as creatures and droids. Fuck am I excited for this film.

Just awesome that Ford was there. All the people there must have been so surprised and excited.

$170 26" TIE Fighter, yeah, that's pricey... considering Hasbtro 29" Millennium Falcon (Hero series?) is/was about $85?

Battlestar reference?

The alien's body reminds me of a classic Cylon body as well.

I've never masturbated to a behind the scenes movie montage before, there's a good chance that is going to change.

Was there any sign of Kenny Baker in that video? I'm starting to have doubts that he was even on the set at all.

I don't think he's involved with the movie, not with regards to Artoo at least.. These days a fully-functioning remote control R2-D2 should be easy to build and work. Sticking the old guy inside a trash can like they had to decades ago seems unnecessary and cruel with today's tech.

Ford seems more friendly, engaging and appreciative than he has in decades, IMO. Maybe that plane crash really put things into perspective for him.

Kenny Baker was announced as part of the cast, for what it's worth: http://www.starwars.com/news/star-wa...cast-announced

I think it would probably hurt him more not to be involved than it would to physically be in the droid, but I could be wrong. I mean, getting replaced by a robot when you were a man playing a robot...ouch!

I think it could be that he's having a damn good time playing Han again.

MSW mentioned Leia has a droid named Peazy (short for PZ-4CO). Maybe that's him. I also think I spot Crystal Clarke in the background... assuming she kept her afro for the movie.

Did Oscar Isaac really say "Yarvin" instead of Yavin at 24:30? What kind of fanboy poseur shit is that?

Also, the Plagueis question at 38:00 did seem to trip them up a bit. Despite the denial, I think there could be something to that. Notice how Daisy immediately turned to J.J. and asked "Is that...?", like she was hesitant to mention anything. And it sounded like Kasdan had the "Darth Vegas?" response already prepared in case someone asked.

This clip pretty much just pissed on Lucas. It was a "don't worry, we're not doing it like the shit-fest that Lucas did in the prequels - it'll be like the originals... real and with life" advertisement.

Looks like Harrison has some paralysis on the left side of his face after the plane crash:

Unfortunate but he could have been dead. I'm glad he survived.
