I agree. I remember the agony of waiting for the end credits in that one. Whether it's over for Kitsch or not, I'm done checking out movies he headlines.

The script wasn't a mess. The script for Prometheus was a mess. John Carter had some problems (shouldn't have opened on Mars, second act drags), but I think people are confusing its box office take with the quality of the film.

He needs to earn his way back by doing some smaller films and roles that would show any acting range he has (if any, I never watched FNL) Sort of what Colin Ferrell did after Alexander...and what he'll need to do again after Total Recall, lol.

John Carter was as bad as the box office results to me. I haven't seen Friday Night Lights either, but having only seen Kitsch in Carter and Wolverine, he's been pretty poor.

^ the odd thing about the whole Taylor Kitsch mystique is how the folks doing the commentary on the John Carter DVD/Bluray really gush over him ... yet when in the movies where he's the lead - audiences really don't give a toss.
