What we really need is another live action Batman TV series. Batman's rogues gallery could be fleshed out much more on the small screen than it ever could in the movies. Imagine season long storyarcs adapting comics like Knightfall, No Man's Land, or Hush. They could use the first few seasons to set up all the rogues, and then have a season where Bane breaks all the rogues out of Arkham in the first episode leading into a season long Knightfall.

I love how you say that it's completely inaccurate and then brush off two of some of the most major complaints that have been raised in this thread in the same sentence.

That could only have made him better. His constant bragging of his superiority got old, especially when

I don't see you coming up with any theories. All you do is laugh until someone proves you wrong. Then you ignore that topic (or state for the umpteenth time that 'The Avengers' was soooo much better).

Which is only a touch better than the people who then go on to lambast another aspect of the movie in some sad attempt to cover up the fact that all their complaints are pointless nitpicks.

I've engaged in plenty of discussion here that doesn't mention The Avengers. But, shockingly, you manage to forget I've posted anything that isn't totally negative because that would contradict your view that anyone who says anything less than cock-suckingly good about TDKR must be a Nolan hater who's never liked anything Nolan has done.

As for how Bruce got back into Gotham, I don't need to provide theories. He's Bruce fucking Wayne. He's been trained by the League of Shadows, was the frickin' Batman, and was a billionaire. He most certainly had contacts and ways of getting in and out of places that would otherwise be locked down. That's a much simpler and more reasonable explanation than him flying the Bat to India via autopilot and then back to Gotham.

In fact, I think how Bruce got back into Gotham is one of those needless nitpicks, yet, out of all of them, that's the one you're trying to defend in the most absurd way possible.

Hey, look, a lie that is in no way true. You must either be confusing me with some other poster or it's just another way for Supermallet to villify anyone who defends this movie over 'The Avengers'.

In fact, you were asked quite a few days ago (by me and quite a few other posters) to say one positive thing about this movie and you came up with the most vague, ancillary answer possible.

An obvious lie, since I didn't even mention it until you brought it back up. The only reason that I'm attempting to 'defend' it is because you called me out on it.

God, I wish I could put you on ignore. All you do is instigate shit.

Now I think you're confusing ME with someone else, because I said several specific positive things about the film AND never criticized Bruce getting back into Gotham.

For a moderator that's not a good look. I've brought this up before that he and others always bait people into arguments. I've learned to say what I need to say and move on. That would be my suggestion for you.

This guy is the King of it.

You said "most" of the complaints in the thread. I'm saying "most" of the complaints haven't been about minutiae (though those complaints are present), but about larger problems with the movie.

I think the minutiae (why are the cops charging armed criminals like they are extras in Braveheart?) have more to do with larger issues (why aren't these characters behaving like real people?) than the autopilot and the knives.

Which, btw, I had no issues with because I am capable of paying attention to the movie. I heard the "software update" line and remember what Lucius said about the new suit design.

Does this mean the wedding of Supermallet and Dragon Tattoo is off? The least you could have done was break it off before I got you a blender.

The knife problem with the new suit being brought up by people in Rises is amusing because we actually saw the same problem in The Dark Knight. Didn't Joker get him with his shoe knife?

Yeah, Lucius brought up the software issues when he first showed the Bat and then towards the end while discussing it with the other techs (who then mention that it had been patched some monthes ago). As for the suit, not only does Lucius mention in TDK that it's weaker against knives and gunfire, the Joker stabs Batman twice in TDK (the latter time he gleefully says "oh the old familar places" just before he stabs Batman in the same exact spot).

The cash money offered by Supermallet is not worth the paper it's printed on.
