I agree with both sentiments.

They had 2D showings of both the recent Disney re-released (Lion King and Beauty and the Beast).

I don't think young people today understand the enormity of Titanic. Avatar made more money but Titanic was humongous.

Despite the fact that he's from Toronto, I'm happy Christopher Plummer won.

Thumbs up for ABC not showing Angelina Jolie's skeletor arms and staying with just the face.

I'm sure there will be some 2D just like with the re-release of The Phantom Menace.

They don't understand a billion teen girls going to see it. And probably neither do the girls now that they're in their 20's.

Is there a weird electronic sound coming off of their mics tonight or is it just me?

This is true. I can't remember any movie being an "event" on the level of Titanic. Has a movie been in first-run that long before or since Titanic?

Beginners was one of the most beautifully emotional films I've seen in years. So happy for Plummer.

It comes from Owen Wilson's nose.

Anytime I see Nick Nolte the first thing that comes to mind is that infamous mugshot. That's it.

Would you like to spend a night getting dressed up and hanging out with old people if you were ten?

Christopher Plummer just won an Oscar for playing someone who was married to a woman despite being gay. So him being married in real life isn't proof that he's not gay.

How is the show already running 8 minutes long? The speeches have been fairly short, thought it would've been ahead of schedule.
