Wahlberg and Tucci means it has to be better than the last two.

Right? Right?

Sorry, but the alternate universe where Wahlberg and Tucci trump McDormand, Turturro and Malkovich does not exist.

Oh my God, you're right. Those movies were so colossally awful that I forgot those people were even in it. Yikes.

No. That's a Decepticon called Lockdown.

According to rumors, the main antagonist*of the fourth installment is the*dangerous matte black Lamborghini Aventador Tranformer known as Lockdown, a Decepticon bounty hunter. Lockdown*pilots a ship full of “decommissioned Transformers” – including the Dinobots. As his bounty hunter title suggests, Lockdown collects parts from other Transformers to upgrade his personal arsenal. Lockdown is quite possibly the most destructive Transformer of all.

How many Dinobots are we getting in this?

The only one we've seen is Grimlock, but I've seen a lot of images and toys of these:

Spoiler:
Grimlock - T-Rex
Slug - Triceratops
Slash - Velociraptor
Strafe - Two-headed Pterodactyl
Scorn - Spinosaurus

And I've seen these mentioned (with single pieces of blurry concept art):

Spoiler:

Snarl - Stegosaurus
Slog - Sauropod (Brontosaurus)

I hope Tucci is playing his character from The Devil Wears Prada.

Depends. Did Paramount do that flick? Maybe they could do it like Keaton's character in Jackie Brown.

It was a Fox release, as I recall.

I hated the first one and never bothered with the others. This one has me ever-so-slightly interested because Shia Lannoying isn't in it and I might be able to get in the mood for some mindless, cool-looking action. If it maintains a more serious tone, I'm even more interested.

So Galvatron is the model of truck that Optimus Prime should have been from the beginning?

I do not understand Michael Bay.

Well, if Optimus Prime rides him then yeah, that would be an obvious assumption. How tall is Prime? Like 30 feet? Then fucking Grimlock must be like 200.

Michael Bay is a genius.

No. The snub nosed cab from the trailers is Optimus Prime. He later updates to a different long nose cab.

I know in a Michael Bay trailer, it's almost impossible to find certain characters, but in which ones is Galvatron shown? Isn't Lockdown the Decepticon that turns his face into a gun and shoots Optimus?

I think the Triceratops or Brontosauros is Slag, actually.

I think we came to the conclusion that that was Cyclonus.

That's Cyclonus with the gun-face. If you look carefully during that scene, when Optimus turns to face Cyclonus and is subsequently shot, there is a Decepticon on the ground. That is Galvatron. You also see Galvatron when Stanley Tucci is commenting on the metal from which the Transformers are made. He's lying on a slab.

Wait...So Optimus starts out the first movie as a long nose truck (with flames, because fucking Michael Bay), now in this movie he starts as a flat-nosed truck (which is what he should have been from day 1) and then turns back into a long nose truck?

Can't wait to hear the explanation in the movie on that one.

After 3 movies I still have trouble telling who's who as far as the actual Transformers go outside of Optimus and Bumblebee.
