The funny thing about that trailer is that for a second I thought it was Marky Mark making out with his daughter.

Only Michael Bay could make a gigantic robot dinosaur look fucking stupid.

Optimus riding Grimlock = my ass in a seat. That might be the most Michael Bay Michael Bay has ever Michael Bay'd, but the man can deliver huge action. Hopefully, there's a passable human element this time around.

I also noticed that slo-mo shot of a fucking car and its wheel totally roll over some guy's face. Now if the damage to that dude's face isn't akin to the scene in Deathproof where Vanessa's face gets shaved off by the wheel I will be pissed.

P.S. I fucking know it won't be bloody but it seems that Bay's desire to go "gritty" for the 4th installment will mean that he will be inflicting bloodless bodily violence where dudes will probably shake off their injuries.

I quite like the first and third Transformers. Thought the third had some really perfect stuff in it.

I'll go watch this. But the trailer looks unremarkable. Not a single epic Bay shot queued up in there.

I believe that's actually Cyclonus. Galvatron is built by humans from the remains of Megatron. But the main antagonist is Cyclonus.

Why does Cyclonus have a gun for a head? I'm also getting a vibe that the dinobots will not be transforming into robots - just staying as giant robotic dinosaurs.

You should know by now that Transformers is one of the most hated, yet popular blockbusters in this forum.

Given that Sentinel Prime was originally going to be called Ultra Magnus, I try not to concern myself with how they swap around character traits in these movies.

If Cyclonus and Galvatron aren't tied to Unicron, who'll be the puppet master villain this time?

I'm sure it'll be awful but I'm totally in to see the new Dinobots and Galvatron.

If this series had hardcore sex in it it would be a lot better.

This looks at least as good as 3.
Not as good as 2.

I'm still in.
And, Bay can still be in me.

I don't know man. All that screeching metal and grinding and groaning and explosions of fluid. Maybe it's in the subtext .

gets swapped for a truck? No wonder Cyclonus transforms into a gun.

Swapping sucks and I guess that answers that.

Pretty much.
Spoiler:
Galvatron is essentially a cross between Motormaster and Nemesis Prime (the latter originally rumored to be in this flick and likely renamed Galvatron to placate G1 fans).

Makes wonder if we'll see the Stunticons and Menasor.

^ Well, from the trailer, isn't Cyclonus the back Lamborghini in the beginning?
