How the hell would they handle the size and scale of Unicron? He's the size of a flippin planet? Even if they DRASTICALLY reduced his size, he'd still be the largest "creature" ever put on film by like a factor of 10. I don't know if the technology exists to make him look anything but ridiculous.

G.B. Blackrock may be a Marvel character but it seems he's available to use since he was an intended character for ROTF until Michael Bay complained he was too "comic booky". At least that's what the writers claimed.
As for the Dinobots, Bay has been on record as hating them. I think the Wreckers are the closest we'll ever get to them.

Blackrock may also feel like a Tony Stark rip off if not handled well.
Unicron would be a very ambitious move on their part.

Or it could mean that Galvatron will be created along with The Sweeps and Cyclonus. We'll see. The physics of the whole thing are ridiculous in scale.

Galvatron, Cyclonus, and the Sweeps. Unicron shows up in the solar system and eats Mars. Heads toward Earth. Autobots and Dinobots team up to battle Galvatron and his minions. Unicron transforms into robot mode above Earth. Autobots have to open the Matrix and blow the shit out of him.

This thing could be completely insane.

That just blew my mind. I always thought that song was made for Boogie Nights.

They should bust that song out in the middle of the movie somewhere (In a heroic moment, not on Bumblebees's radio). I'd love it.

Here's how it was used in the animated movie:

I really loved Dare in the animated movie. Makes me want to watch it again.

I have the Blu-ray import of the film. I always get chills when Unicron says "WELCOOOOOOOME MEGATROOOOON."
Megatron: And?
Unicron: And NOTHING! You belong to me now.

Wow, I didn't realize the DVD is going for so much right now. It's like $90-100 from resellers on Amazon.

Which DVD? The old fullscreen one by Rhino or the 2-disc (widescreen and fullscreen) reissue by Sony. Cos I have both.
Never got around to getting the BD.

Like they did with Galactus, who is very similiar, in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer? The Bayformers aesthetic requires so many moving pieces on the robot designs that I'd surprised if it would even be possible for ILM to do that, even with today's tech.
