Seriously..there's nothing worse than reading about how these prints are still sitting at Mondo.

Yeah and tax in Texas too. i picked one up in the store. It is gorgeous. But that might be trade bait someday for a Stout.

and yet somehow I managed to get through...even with Mondo's "fake-out" tweet. From all that I've seen and heard, figure this one is worth the steep price.

^ Mondo needs to streamline their purchasing process. I've had the same thing happen to me on prior purchase attempts -- page gets caught up on the shipping calculations. Just charge a flat shipping rate to simplify it.

I highly suggest getting the Zombie Flesh Eaters and the actual Fantastic Fest Poster. I gave the latter as a gift and almost want it back!

Not Mondo, but I know there's some other Whalen fans around here. Anyone get in on the Great Pumpkin "pre-sale" fiasco yesterday with eMoviePosters.com? What a mess of a drop. Still waiting for confirmation on if I'm even getting it or not. Supposed to be confirmed today. The print sure is amazing though.

I'm not a fan of hanging horror posters, but I'm tempted to buy The Gate. Vibrant colors and I have a soft spot for the movie growing up as a kid. Although, I planned on taking a week (or 4) off after last week's Frank.

Re: Mondo/Alamo Drafthouse Screen Printed Movie Posters
http://www.darkhallmansion.com/ will be doing a random time drop of a very limited amount of the regular (pictured) and the variant next Wednesday. There's also a steel version but it's $250, so uh...yeah. Hopefully my "pre-order" will get confirmed today and I won't have to worry, but as far as I know, outside of Whalen's APs he'll have on his site at some point for a bit higher price or Ebay, that's the only other option.

I'll just throw this out there in case I can't get in on the sale on Wed. If anyone is able to get an extra or decides they don't want it from their pre-order, I will gladly take it off your hands. I don't care which version.

Not too much interest in the movie but I really like the colors of that Gate print. Bet it looks awesome in person.

As if it wasn't impossible enough to score a poster on a Mondo drop, the NY Times ran a profile of Mondo today, so now the 10 or so people on the planet who have not heard of Mondo yet, will be joining us on drop day.

I have a counteroffer on ebay for a T Stout signed Kill Bill Varient.
Do you think $470 is too much? I really want this but I am not sure if I can bring myself to pay nearly half a grand for a poster....
