District 9 is fantastic. I don't even want to acknowledge those who disliked it. This looks like great also. Can't wait!

I thought District 9 was alright, quite overrated... but this looks good.

The rich live in space, the poor on earth, cyborgs, space stations, sounds like the usual stockpot of sci-fi ideas. Could still be fun though. Good cast, and District 9 clearly showed that he has talent, and the man can stretch a budget like no one I've seen. I'll definitely be interested to see. I'm surprised it's taken this long since his last film, to be honest.

Although I'm not sure I can stomach 2 hours of Jodie Foster and her leftist, lesbian agenda.......the rest of this looks really awesome.

Plotwise, it looks generic and trite. What really has people intrigued is Blomkamp's knack for stretching a budget while not making it look stretched at all.

I admire the fact that Blomkamp tries to make his films intelligent, I think part of the problem with District 9 was its obvious interesting ideas getting lost in the action-movie mayhem in the second half. But it will at very least be visually interesting and probably pretty exciting, and it has a pretty good cast as well. I'm already anticipating the problems with it, but by no means that mean I'm not interested. I'll certainly be seeing it.

I've been hearing raves about Blomkamp's ability to stretch a budget. Forget about an intriguing sounding story, a great look, Matt Damon and coming off a movie that's loaded with action, humor and is one of the best sci if movies this last decade! I'm just frothing at the mouth that he got so much bang for his buck!!!*Jules runs through the streets doing cartwheels and somersaults.*

I hated it when I saw it in the theater. Not just hated but loathed and despised it. I now love the film after seeing it again. One of my biggest bi-polar moments when it comes to film.

Can't wait for Elysium.

This would have been the perfect movie to release on Father's Day weekend.

If it weren't for that pesky Superman!

I can't believe how well he stretched the budget for that trailer! Amazing! Can't wait!

Seriously though, I loved District 9 in the theater, again on Blu-ray, and I'm really looking forward to this one. This trailer was fantastic, and long, yet I didn't feel like it gave too much away.

Yea, that latest trailer has really sold me. I mean, I was already sold on Blomkamp but this, thankfully, happens to look fantastic.
