Executive producer. They pass that title out more than samples of Tide. I get it, I just think it's funny how much more respect the name of the guy who picked the director commands than the actual director of the film. It's like yeah, Zach Snyder is involved... but so is Chris Nolan! ... kind of.

Yeah. Still funny that Nolan gets mentioned. I'm sure some people will go in thinking it's Nolan directed..which financially can be a good thing if there are enough of those people.

I'll say this for Cavill. He really DOES look more like Superman-ish than Brandon Routh.
And that color scheme in the cover would work for me as the final color palette.

At least the color grading in that photo makes the suit look a bit more blue, but I'm still not sold. The lack of yellow (even a muted yellow) seems wrong, and I don't get thinking behind the bracers. They don't look "alien", just like a medieval gimmick. And why does everything have to look grimy and dirty these days. Does Kal-El never wash his super suit? That thing must be getting pretty ripe by now.
Yeah, I know. Now comes the part where people tell me how wrong and lame I am for not getting the beauty that is the new suit. Well, bring it on.

I thought Routh was fantastic as Superman, I just wish Singer had more dialogue in SR than he did. He was very hellbent on imagery than he was on dialogue.

Color palette still looks a little too drab for my taste, but the brief shots of Superman look really really good.

I don't really know how the describe it, but I don't really care for the overly dramatic trailers and teasers for this so far with the slow music and voiceovers, but some of the action in there looked pretty awesome.

This is definitely going to be its own Superman film, that's for sure. I really hope Snyder pulls this off because it looks like it'll be something special.

I'm neither a fan of Superman nor a fan of Snyder's, and, based on that trailer, even I am looking forward to seeing what comes out of this. Looks like it definitely has promise and the potential for originality.
