Black Dynamite runs circles around The Hangover in the comedy department.

Naw it doesn't, but both are pretty enjoyable.

Dynamite! Dynamite! ran out of steam a little past the half-way point and started to drag, I personally didn't have that issue with The Hangover, made it more rewatchable too.

How else do you explain Mike Tyson and Hollywood giving Alec Baldwin a pass.

I'd say people largely forgave Mel from the initial "sugar tits" incident a few years ago, and there wouldn't be any backlash if this was a year ago. It's all the recent stuff that's caused more media attention.
