Sam Raimi

I don't think many people would consider him a great director by any stretch...but I think this could be an interesting poll.

What is your favorite Sam Raimi film?

Re: Sam Raimi

Many of his movies are excellent, but I have to pick Evil Dead II.

Re: Sam Raimi

Spidey 2 for me. Never got that into the Evil Dead series, although I do enjoy Army of Darkness.

I hope he does well for the Warcraft movie though

Re: Sam Raimi

It saddens me when I think that the man who made the Evil Dead trilogy was also responsible for the Spiderman trilogy.

Went with Evil Dead II. The whole series is a good time though as are The Quick and the Dead and Drag Me to Hell.

The Spider-Man movies weren't that bad. Not his best work but I enjoyed the first two quite a bit. Not perfect but pretty fun movies. The third really isn't as bad as most would like you to believe either in my opinion. The weakest of the trilogy but still not terrible.

Re: Sam Raimi

Even though I thought Darkman was pretty darned good, I had to vote Evil Dead II (Dead By Dawn). His severed hand flipping him off from the mouse hole was classic! -kd5-

Re: Sam Raimi

A Simple Plan is easily Raimi's best film and one of my all-time favorites.

IMO, it's most definitely the other way around.

Re: Sam Raimi

First thought I figured AOD or ED2 but Spider-Man 2 is just an excellent film so it got my vote

Re: Sam Raimi

The Spider-Man Trilogy would have gone down in history as a top tier trilogy if the studio hadn't meddled in the final movie. Raimi had pretty much free reign during one and two and both were fantastic films.
